Job Advert
Assistant Feedback and Complaints Officer (Ref: 6912)
Part Time - 30 hours per week
Band 5 - Salary Range £24,670 - £30,742 per annum (pro rata)
NHS Shetland encourages feedback as a way to improve services for our residents. We have an exciting opportunity for a strong administrator to grow their existing knowledge and expand their skills in healthcare complaint handling. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated and well-organised individual with excellent communication skills to join NHS Shetland’s Corporate Services team.
The post holder will receive complaints both written and in person, and either prepare an immediate response or flag the feedback for further investigation. The feedback and complaints handling procedure is deadline driven and when a quick response is not possible, the post holder will need to monitor the investigation process, prepare draft responses on behalf of others and also facilitate meetings between key personnel and complainants as required.
If you are a confident communicator with a mature and professional attitude, why not take a look at the full job description? We’d love to hear from you.
If you wish to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity, you will need to discuss with your line manager before submitting an application. You will be expected to comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of commencing your role – details can be viewed on http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Resource/Doc/288863/0088362.pdf
