​​​​​​​This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible Change and Development Team Leader to join our Children’s Services Planning and Change Team to support the investment of additional funding for children’s mental health services awarded by Scottish Government. The focus of the investment is to strengthen tier 1 and 2 community supports in order to provide a more consistent and aligned system of support for children, young people and their families, with a focus on high quality, strengths-based and trauma informed approaches. 

The post-holder will work closely with Commissioning, Finance and Health Improvement colleagues applying improvement and implementation methodology to deliver improved pathways, ensure seamless access to supports and to reduce delays and waiting lists for a range of supports.

We’re looking for someone who is qualified to degree level with good project management skills and can who can demonstrate experience of implementing service improvement in a health or social care environment (or similar).

In addition to general project management responsibilities, working with the Change and Development Manager, key duties will include, but are not limited to;

Supporting the development and expansion of a range of mental health services and supports.
Supporting the commissioning and start of services.
Developing and implementing a performance monitoring framework. 
Developing and building readiness for change across HSCP partners and a range of stakeholders across the Community Planning Partnership.
Analysing and integrating evidence into discussions, reports and plans.
Developing a strong feedback loop with the senior leadership team, and with practitioners/ agencies, and promoting engagement with children, young people and their families.
Producing reports and delivering presentations in line with children’s services governance processes and structure, with a focus on analysis and evaluation, and monitoring and reporting on programme risks, actions, issues and dependencies registers/logs.
Supporting the development and implementation of data and evaluation systems
The shift pattern is; Monday – Friday standard hours (9-5)
