You will provide a service to Renfrewshire Mental Health Inpatient Wards, which are currently based across three sites – Dykebar Hospital, Royal Alexandra Hospital & Leverndale Hospital. Your base will initially be in one of these sites, though you may be required to rotate to another site in due course. Applicants must be able to work in any of the three sites.
You will provide care to patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, including care for adults and older adults as part of the multidisciplinary team. You should have knowledge and experience of working with people with mental health illnesses. It is essential you are a NMC registered nurse. This post also requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland checks.
The posts offered are full time 37.5hours per week, though part time hours will be considered. The shift pattern is rotational, we are currently undertaking a review of our shift patterns. This review consists of moving to 12 hour shifts which we started in Dec 2020 as part of a pilot. We are flexible regarding our shift pattern. This can be discussed at interview or by contacting the hiring manager prior to interview
