Are you passionate about quality improvement, better access and value?

If so, we have exciting opportunities for people with experience in QI who can ideally hit the ground running.

Forth Valley is one of two accelerator sites in Scotland developing and testing improvements in Early Intervention in Psychosis building on work done in Lothian and Glasgow. The post holder will work in both Healthcare Improvement Scotland with the national team and in NHS Forth Valley with Mental Health Services.  This initiative is one of a number of actions in the report, 'Our Vision to Improve Early Intervention in Psychosis in Scotland', led by HIS working in partnership with Scottish Government (SG) and the Early Intervention in Psychosis Improvement Network (EIPIN) and will run until December 2020.

We will also be joining five other NHS Boards in initiating Scotland’s Value Management Collaborative to build and share learning initially in Acute Service teams and then on to other areas and teams.  The Value Management Collaborative will test and spread an innovative model developed within NHS Highland that supports clinical, care and finance teams to apply quality improvement methods which combine cost and quality data at team level to deliver improved patient outcomes, experience and value.

These posts will be based in the Efficiency, Improvement, Quality and Innovation Team (EPQI), giving further opportunities for personal development and peer support. You’ll have a key role in leading and supporting these exciting new models and approaches and improvement skills building for the organisation, working with our H&SCP colleagues, Third Sector and the public. You will also contribute to developing in-house improvement training and coaching capacity.
