You will contribute to improving access to psychological therapies for adults as part of the Primary Care Mental Health Team (PCMHT) within a stepped and matched care model. In particular you will be responsible for the assessment, formulation, implementation and evaluation of evidence- based cognitive-behavioural psychological therapies that proactively involves the person and optimises self-management. You will be required to work independently on an allocated individual caseload with regular supervision with a Band 7 Cognitive Behaviour Therapist and also deliver CBT courses on a routine basis. It is essential you are a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with the appropriate registration with mental health experience. The hours of this post are worked Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
