Associate Postgraduate Dean – Lead for

IMT Simulation, Scotland Deanery

(maternity cover – 9 months)

Hours:  8 hours (2 sessions)

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.

The Associate Postgraduate Dean will be responsible as clinical lead for developing and delivering IMT simulation training for IMT trainees throughout Scotland.

The APGD should be a Consultant and is accountable to the Lead Dean for Medicine.  They may also combine the role with that of an educational and/or clinical supervisor.

The post is available for 9 months (maternity leave cover).
