You will contribute to the comprehensive multi-disciplinary team in providing care and support to service users and their families within the local community. The You will maintain a caseload and contribute to clinics and group work and will foster a multi-disciplinary approach to clinical and managerial problems in a community setting. Under the supervision of Band 6 CPN’s you will liaise with hospital and primary care teams, social work and voluntary agencies, and assist the CPN to promote and develop comprehensive nursing interventions for a range of mental health problems.You will contribute to the comprehensive multi-disciplinary team in providing care and support to service users and their families within the local community. Under the supervision of Band 6 CPN’s the post holder will liaise with hospital and primary care teams, social work and voluntary agencies, and assist the CPN to promote and develop comprehensive nursing interventions for a range of mental health problems. You will have responsibility for teaching and supervision of learners and unqualified staff. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Mental Health Nurse and having experiece in acute adult mental heatlh would be desirable. You should have good communication and organisational skills along with knowledge or relevant legislation and current practice. It would be desirable if you have a current driving licence. The shift pattern for this post is 4 out of 5 days, Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
