An exciting opportunity/development has arisen within the Children’s Unit for a band 6 senior nurse to join our existing team. This post is to enable the development and continued progression of our Short stay paediatric assessment area (SSPAA).
Interested individuals should possess experience and skills in triage, paediatric assessment and paediatric care to HDU level.
This individual along with the existing senior nurse and medical teams will be pivotal in taking forward this service in paediatrics.
You should possess excellent communication skills, be motivated, proactive and flexible in approach to work.
Participation in clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement methodology will be expected.
We offer a supportive working environment. Individuals will be supernumerary for a negotiated length of time and be able to participate in the learning and rotation amongst other departments in order to net work and gain experience in this field of interest.
