This is a fixed term post until 31/03/2023 however this date has the potential to be extended. Various hours are available.
To work in collaboration with staff in care homes throughout Lanarkshire to promote safe, effective person centred care for residents within these establishments by disseminating knowledge & sharing clinical expertise to empower both users and providers of care. A full driving licence is therefore required for this role.
Provide clinical input to support development in adult care homes.
To develop and deliver education packages for nurses and carers working in the care home sector in response to identified needs, and act as a resource to ensure that contemporary evidence based information on clinical practice is available.
By providing a liaison role identify opportunities that will enhance joint working, build partnerships and alliances across professional groups, as well as across boundaries
Support staff in adult care homes to develop and deliver safe, effective person centred care.
