Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner (Registered Paediatric Nurse)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8A Advanced Paediatric Nurse
Practitioner post within NHS Forth Valley Paediatric Acute Services.
A first level NMC Registration and an Advanced Paediatric Nurse Qualification at Masters Levels as well as MSc APNP Independent Nurse Prescribing certificate (recorded by the NMC) are essential.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of advanced Paediatric Care, working as an autonomous practitioner, prioritizing own workload and being accountable for the direct delivery of highly specialised programmes of care and effective utilisation of resources.
The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care at an advanced level to children and families, be a keen team player, have excellent communication skills and facilitate teaching and supervision to junior medical staff, nursing staff and students to ensure safe, evidence based practice is delivered.
