An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Healthcare Improvement Scotland within the Improvement Hub (ihub).

We are looking to appoint a Project Officer to join the Living Well in Communities portfolio. The Living Well in Communities (LWiC) portfolio consists of a range of programmes which support health and social care organisations to make improvements that enable people to spend more time living well at home or in a homely setting. The portfolio is now at a stage where it is starting to share its learning from small tests of change through collaboratives.

The post holder will co-ordinate and support project activity to deliver agreed outcomes within timescales, cost and to a high standard. This will involve working with a large number of colleagues from within the LWiC team, ihub and health and social care organisations. This post will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and working across different programmes and projects.

The successful candidate should have an understanding of project management and experience of project work. They should also be able to work on their own initiative, be proactive, manage and prioritise a busy work schedule and demonstrate attention to detail.

This role will involve supporting our East regional team, and will involve some travel.

Further information about LWiC can be found on our website and the LWiC blog, or by contacting Laura Dobie laura.dobie@nhs.net.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key support role in our organisation to continually improve health and social care across Scotland.

Closing date: 6 November 2019 at midnight.
