We are looking for a committed and self motivated pharmacy technician to assist the senior pharmacist, Palliative Care in providing patient focussed, quality pharmaceutical care to patients within Strathcarron Hospice.

The postholder will be responsible for the provision of technical aspects of medicines supply to palliative care patients within Strathcarron Hospice ensuring a high level of service, which meets the individual needs of patients while promoting safe and cost effective prescribing.

You will also work closely with the senior pharmacist and multidisciplinary team at the hospice to identify discrepancies in medication histories and other pharmaceutical care issues.  The post offers an excellent opportunity to develop the role in a supportive environment as a fully integrated member of the Strathcarron Hospice team.
