We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse with a minimum BSc in Nursing or recognised post graduate urology qualification.
The successful candidate should be committed to the provision of high quality, patient focused care; have a flexible approach to service needs and a genuine interest in working with patients requiring urology care. Previous experience in urology is a requirement of this post. For the duration of the training, you will be supported and inspired by the urology team. Training will include:
Urodynamics
Cystoscopy
Prostate assessment
Intravesical instillation clinics
Prostate cancer clinics
Results clinics
Nurse led general urology clinics
The Urology team currently provides the following services:
Vasectomy
Diagnostic flexible cystoscopy
Nurse led clinics
General and specialist urology clinics
Specialist Nurse Service.
Support to urology inpatients
