An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech and Language Therapist to work within the Speech and Language Therapy team in Forth Valley.


The Speech and Language Therapy team works in partnership with the three local authorities, health colleagues and parents / carers delivering quality services across Universal, Targeted and Individualised levels.  The successful candidate/s will work in partnership with Parents and Education staff to reduce the impact of speech, language and communication difficulties on a child’s wellbeing. This may include supporting children with communication needs, delivering training, developing the communication environment, modelling and coaching parents and education staff in a range of interventions. 


This role may require the successful candidate to deliver innovative universal and targeted approaches within educational placements.  The candidate will have experience of delivering universal and targeted whole school approaches and be confident in measuring impact within this setting.


You will receive a high level of professional support, leadership and clinical supervision.  You will also have access to high quality professional development delivered by our very highly skilled teams across Forth Valley. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
