The postholder is responsible for managing their own caseload within a defined geographical area and as part of a specialist service for individuals who are experiencing a broad range of complex needs relating to substance misuse problems and related mental health problems. Promoting a harm reduction philosophy with all agencies and individuals in contact with the service.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
