fixed term / secondment to 30/06/2022
Are you an ambitious and self-motivated individual who can help deliver key projects?
eHealth are embarking on an ambitious rollout of a new electronic laboratory ordering and result service across 90 GP Practices in NHS Highland. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the eHealth Department to help deliver this.
We are looking to recruit a Project Manager on a temporary basis to deliver the Order Communications project into Primary Care. The successful person will work with a team to ensure the successful delivery and roll out for the project using the Prince 2 methodology. This will take forward new developments and initiatives aligned to the NHS Highland Digital Strategy.
A significant proportion of your duties will involve working with all levels of staff across the Board and will also include other external organisations and, as such, a high level of interpersonal communication skills is expected. We are looking to appoint a candidate who can demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills to their daily work tasks, work well under pressure and have a high level of attention to detail. The ability to work as part of a team and have a clear understanding of the importance of customer service is key. You should be educated accordingly and have the relevant experience and knowledge, preferably within the NHS or public sector.
Informal enquiries can be made to Iain MacInnes, Project Team Manager by email to iain.macinnes@nhs.scot, or Alison Gorham, Project Manager by email to alison.gorham2@nhs.scot.
