MACMILLAN ADVANCED NURSE CANCER,
TEAM LEAD (BAND 7)
Salary £37,570 - £44,688
FIXED TERM CONTRACT OF 18 MONTHS
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a band 7 Advanced Nurse Cancer, Team lead based at Caithness General Hospital, Wick. The post leads and manages Macmillan services across the counties of Caithness and Sutherland
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated senior nurse with a significant level of experience in a cancer or palliative care environment.
You should have excellent communication, clinical and leadership skills. You will have obtained a first level degree relevant to the area and hold a higher degree in cancer and or palliative care. Successful completion of an approved course in administration of intravenous chemotherapy or a willingness to undertake is also required.
This is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, working in accordance with service requirements.
A current driving licence is necessary.
