The Medical Workforce team provides a specialist support and advisory service which underpins the employment of all grades of medical and dental staff.  The team currently focuses on three main areas of work; recruitment, doctors and dentist in training and job planning.
 
We are currently recruiting to the following post:

• Full Time Medical Workforce Adviser (37.5 hours per week)

  • Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity for a period of two years ending 20th October 2021


The Medical Workforce Adviser will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on day to day operational issues relating to all Medical and Dental staff within NHS Forth Valley.

The post holder will be educated to degree level in a relevant Human Resources subject gained preferably within a complex, multidisciplinary public sector organisation or have prior experience of working in an advisory role, ideally dealing with recruitment, employment contracts, job planning and/or medical workforce contractual issues.
 
Applicants will have well developed interpersonal communication and influencing skills, as well as the ability to prioritise workload effectively. Previous experience of working in a busy office environment is essential.
