The Central Legal Office (CLO) provides comprehensive legal services to Health Boards and Special NHS Authorities in Scotland covering all aspects of litigation and employment law, property transactions and commercial contracts.
You will provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Business Support Department ensuring high standards are clearly established, organising meetings, taking minutes, dealing with queries that come from staff across the office, dealing with the procurement of stationery, furniture and any equipment needed, organising travel requirements, booking and procuring training courses for all staff, dealing with all Building and H&S issues in the first instance, liaising with facilities contractors and suppliers.
You will have a HND or equivalent in relevant discipline.  Experience in a senior secretarial/administrative post is essential.  You will be a proactive and self-motivated individual, paying attention to detail. Excellent time management and organisational skills are vital to enable you to prioritise effectively and work to strict deadlines and interpersonal skills to make your role effective.
Any candidate who have lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
