An opportunity has arisen for a customer focused and organised individual to join the Business Support Team - Registry Department as a Registry Court Clerk.
The hours for this post are 22.5hrs per week and you working days will be Monday to Wednesday.
You will provide a court administration service to the Litigation Department within CLO, as well as providing an efficient file management service to 4 designated teams of solicitors and secretarial staff.  Duties will include opening mail, collecting typing and the management of a “bring forward” system for the solicitors.
You will be a reliable and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to work and the ability to work and communicate within a team.
Court running and working in a legal environment is essential along with the ability to work within strict deadlines.
Previous office experience in the use of archiving and Records Management systems is also essential as well as basic computer skills.
On the job training will be provided and a positive approach is required for this.
The working environment is pleasant and the teams are friendly and supportive.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Disclosure Scotland check.
Any candidate who has lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
