We are seeking a physiotherapist with experience in neurorehabilitation to join our specialist rehabilitation services. As an expert practitioner in managing disability, including spasticity you will take responsibility for a highly complex clinical caseload within Inverclyde Physical Disability Rehabilitation Service, incorporating specialist patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge from care within both an inpatient and community setting. You will play a key role in the education and development of clinical staff within the speciality and act as a resource to other health care staff and agencies, identify areas for clinical research and development and supervise other staff and students.
Whilst this post is mainly based within Inverclyde you will work closely with colleagues in our disability service based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and can expect to spend a portion of their time on this site.
You it essential you have a Degree in Physiotherapy and either have a Post Graduate qualification or specialist knowledge gained, including a wide range of experience in neurorehabilitation. It is essential that you are currently registered with the HCPC. The shift pattern is 5/7.
Note: for candidates who don’t yet meet all essential criteria we may consider appointment on an Annexe U basis.
