LOCUM APPOINTMENT FOR TRAINING

IN MEDICAL ONCOLOGY

Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term, Full time 40 hours per week) post based in Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.
StR Locum Appointment for Training (LAT) in Medical Oncology until 5th August 2020. This is a temporary post which has become available as the result of one of the specialist registrars taking time out of the training programme.
This is a full-time post based at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, Western General Hospital in Edinburgh but will include peripheral clinics in hospital NHS Lothian and the South East Scotland Cancer Network (SCAN) in Fife and Dumfries and Galloway. There will be an on-call commitment at ECC for adult oncology.
A LAT post holds educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean. If appointed as a Senior Clinical Fellow, this post will not be recognised for Training
There may be a possibility to extend this appointment to the end of the training year. The extension may be at any of the hospitals on the rotation.
