We are seeking 2 Service Managers to join our strategic business unit. They will be responsible for leading and managing multiple teams covering areas such as developing NHS Scotland datasets for research, enhancing the data access infrastructure, statistical analyses, information governance, developing the R and Python infrastructure, CHI Linkage and Indexing, monitoring compliance with the code of practice for statistics, data quality assurance, terminology services and clinical coding, managing statistical release practices, delivering training to analysts, statistical disclosure control, and open data developments.
Applicants should be educated to degree level and should have a proven track record of leading and managing multiple teams and projects as well as driving service improvements in healthcare through effective use of data and analyses. The post requires excellent staff management, leadership, influencing, organisational skills and managing multiple projects that will make competing demands on your time.
