Healthcare Improvement Scotland Community Engagement supports the engagement of people and communities in shaping health and social care services in Scotland.  

This role offers an exciting opportunity to promote the activities of the Community Engagement Directorate within the NHS Lanarkshire area. This will also include an opportunity to work across the Community Engagement Directorate’s designated West region (Ayrshire and Arran, Greater Glasgow & Clyde and Lanarkshire).

You will working with relevant stakeholders, develop productive working relationships with local public and patient representative bodies to facilitate effective assessment of the NHS Boards’ Patient Focus & Public involvement activities and work collaboratively to promote improvement.

Ideally, you will have an understanding and previous experience of working in public involvement, have training experience as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. Due to current COVID restrictions this post will be home-based. 

This role includes the opportunity to work across the Community Engagement Directorate’s designated West region (Ayrshire and Arran, Greater Glasgow & Clyde and Lanarkshire).
