Applications are welcome for the above 12 Month Fixed Term, part time 36 hours per week post based in Bonnyrigg Health Centre within the Midlothian Older Adults Psychiatry Team.
Duties & responsibilities:
The job will be largely based within the community working with the Functional team and our Integrated Dementia Team. There will also be the opportunity for inpatient work in our small Community Hospital. We offer comprehensive specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment for older people. The team is small and friendly and values person centred care, joint working and quality improvement.
Key requirements:
It is anticipated that the post holder will have obtained Section 22 status of the Mental Health (Care & Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003 as Approved Medical Practitioner, registered with NHS Lothian.
