The Job Purpose is to  provide  a  comprehensive secretarial and  administrative  service to· a Physician/General Surgeon/Dental  Consultant, Nurse Specialist or group of Physicians/Surgeons/Dental Consultants, Laboratory Consultants, Clinical Scientists, Senior Medical Scientist Staff  and Associate Specialists or Nurse Specialist.


  1. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB


Knowledge of Health and Safety and working lab as interaction require with analytical staff at work bench.


HNC/SVQ111 in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience.


Understanding of a range of work procedures, some of which are non-routine requiring an intermediate level of theoretical knowledge.


Knowledge of the range of secretarial procedures.


Knowledge of software programs.


Understanding of medical and scientific terms, RSA3 and knowledge acquired through further experience.
