We provide a pharmacy service to the Medical and Surgical wards as well as the specialist areas of Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Burns, Plastics and a rapidly expanding Cancer Outpatient Unit.
You’ll be part of our varied, experienced and friendly team and have a chance to participate in providing these services in addition to working within our technical services.
Training and development is actively encouraged and you will be supported to complete the NES Foundation Training with further opportunities to apply for the MSc in Clinical Pharmacy and Independent Prescribing.
We’re open to new ideas and ways of working to make the most of our resources. There will be plenty of opportunities to influence and contribute to ongoing service development as well as participation in initiatives to improve medicine safety and the patient experience.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
