LOCUM APPOINTMENT FOR SERVICE IN TRAUMA & ORTHOPAEDICS
ROYAL INFIRMARY OF EDINBURGH
Applications are welcome for the above fixed term, full part time 40 hours per week) post based in The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
The post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training.
This post is based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for a period of 12 months. The working pattern, training and working opportunities are the same as those of the local specialty trainees. The successful candidate will be based within a trauma team with on associated on calls on an approximately 1 in 12 basis. There will be some cover of elective services as required.
There is expected to be a high level of trauma and operative experience for the successful candidate. Previous junior experience in orthopaedics is desirable (at ST1 or equivalent).
