This is an exciting rotational post providing excellent opportunities for a pharmacy technician to become an integral member of the pharmacy team based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.  You  will work within the Making The Most of Your Medicines team and be responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective near patient discharge service provided from ward based accommodation.


You will also work in the automated dispensary at Glasgow Royal Infirmary pharmacy providing high quality patient focussed pharmaceutical care to inpatients, outpatients and outside hospitals. As part of the rotation you will provide a dispensing service and ward top-up to Stobhill ACH which we service 5 mornings per week.   You will also have the opportunity to work on other sites within the sector gaining knowledge and experience of other specialties. You must be registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Previous Pharmacy experience is required. Experience of working in a ward environment is desirable however training will be provided to the successful applicant who will also have the opportunity to contribute to designing new ways of working.
