Applications are invited for the role of Business Continuity Planning Lead for a fixed term contract until 31/12/2022 of 30 hours per week (0.8 WTE) working as part of the NHS Grampian Civil Contingencies Unit.

Reporting to the Head of Civil Contingencies the post holder will be responsible for delivery of specific objectives under the Business Continuity programme including embedding the new business continuity management system across NHS Grampian and Health and Social Care Partnerships, and supporting robust Business Continuity planning across all parts of the health and social care system, building on the lessons of COVID-19 response.

The post-holder will be expected to provide effective specialist support to the organisation, its managers, and staff, and working alongside Civil Contingencies Advisors to lead a programme of Business Continuity training, course development, exercising, assurance and advisory processes to enable NHS Grampian to meet its obligations as a Category 1 responder.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, an in depth knowledge of the NHS, and substantial experience in Business Continuity.
