Associate Postgraduate Dean (West of Scotland) – Less Than Full Time
Hours:  1 PA (4 hours per week)
Duration:  Fixed Term for 36 Months *
Base: Flexible Location:  2 Central Quay, Glasgow.

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.  

The Scotland Deanery is responsible for postgraduate medical education. The Deanery seeks a new Associate Postgraduate Dean to join a dynamic senior team. The Associate Postgraduate Dean post is required to cover a portfolio of work that will include operational delivery of postgraduate training for Less Than Full Time for trainees in the West of Scotland, as well as support for other regional and national activity as part of the trainee wellbeing and development team.  The role will involve interaction with trainees and trainers in providing support and improving postgraduate education nationally within the Scotland Deanery. 

This will be across 1 PA of time (1 PA = 4 hours).
