Lead Associate Postgraduate Dean – Less Than Full Time
Hours:  1 PA (4 hours per week)
Duration:  Fixed Term for 36 Months *

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.  

The Scotland Deanery is responsible for postgraduate medical education. The Deanery seeks a Lead Associate Postgraduate Dean to provide oversight and coordination of Less than Full Time Training (LTFT), working with a dynamic senior team. The Associate Postgraduate Dean will also contribute to national and UK leadership in LTFT and wider aspects of trainee wellbeing, development and support as part of the senior deanery team.  The role will involve interaction with trainees, trainers, internal and external organisations in providing support and improving trainee wellbeing and flexibility in training within the Scotland Deanery. 

This will be across 1 PA of time (1 PA = 4 hours).
