NHS National Services Scotland is looking for a creative and enthusiastic IM&T Technician to join its web services team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects using a wide range of web technologies. You will have strong technical skills in modern DevOps with experience of using Docker and Kubernetes. You will have a depth of knowledge of multiple server technologies and web technologies. Technologies in use include Docker, Kubernetes, git, linux, nginx, windows server, Microsoft .Net, php MS-SQL Server, MySQL but a successful candidate would be able to demonstrate an ability to rapidly develop and apply skills and knowledge in a constantly changing technical environment. A strong understanding of security best practices is highly desirable for the post.
We are seeking a candidate who will enjoy working in partnership with clients and have strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm. Attention to detail and a professional approach to support and system development are required as is an ability to work well under pressure and prioritise effectively when there are competing demands for your time.
