Applications are invited for an individual registered on Sub-Part 1:RN3 or RNMH of the NMC Register who wishes to join our Community Mental Health Team.
As the successful applicant, you will have extensive experience of working with people with a wide range of mental health problems, have specialist clinical knowledge of best practice in Mental Health Nursing and will be an excellent example to your colleagues in the delivery of compassionate and holistic person centred care. As a Charge Nurse, you will exhibit strong leadership and management skills, will influence and develop practice and will take forward new initiatives within a busy multi-disciplinary team.
Individually you will be educated to degree level or will be able to evidence comparable experience. Clinically, you will work in partnership with people to provide psychosocial and psychological interventions, facilitating, enabling and supporting them within their homes and communities. Within your Charge Nurse role, you will be responsible for liaising with our wider multi-disciplinary team and will support the delivery of safe, effective, person-centred care.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm.
Base: Murray Royal Hospital with travel across the Perth & Kinross Locality
