The board is seeking to employ a multi skilled shift maintenance technician (Electrical bias) to join a team of maintenance technicians who undertake routine maintenance, fault finding, repair and minor new works on services, plant and equipment. This is a rotating shift position three days on (06.00 – 18.00), three days off, three nights on (18.00 – 06.00), three days off
The successful candidate will have served a recognised apprenticeship and hold relevant City and Guilds or equivalent qualification as well as 18th edition accreditation. Candidates must be able to demonstrate maintenance experience within a healthcare or a similar commercial environment. You will be required to carry out planned maintenance, repairs and minor installations to electrical systems and it would be advantageous to demonstrate core mechanical/plumbing knowledge.
In addition to their core trade duties applicants must be willing to work on a wide range of Building Services Systems and undertake training, if required, on other trade disciplines
As you will be working within a close knit team good interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
