Assistant PFI/PPP Contract Manager (Hard Services)


NHS Lanarkshire have an exciting opportunity to join our PFI Contracts team based at University Hospital Wishaw. We are looking to recruit an experienced Hard Services manager with knowledge of M&E systems, building fabric and contract management.

The post-holder will be professionally responsible to manage, audit and co-ordinate the Hard Services PFI contract, to ensure diligence as contained in the PFI contract is carried out and to co-ordinate activities between Service Providers and users to ensure the effective delivery of Property & Support services within Lanarkshire’s largest acute hospital.

Minimum of 3 years management experience preferably in the Health Care Environment would be advantageous.

Skilled in maintenance management of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems such as HVAC, LV power distribution and water systems.

Experienced in Project Management from inception to completion and subsequent handover

Experience of contract specification, procurement and evaluation of tenders / proposals.

The post-holder shall be required to demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of all aspects relating to PFI contracts and associated Estates Management.

Experience of Estates Management, Maintenance Management and Auditing.

Professional Management and Engineering/ Building related qualification to Diploma / HND level or equivalent

Valid full driving Licence
