SALARIED GENERAL PRACTITIONER - Rural North West Stirling 
Part-Time Substantive Post
Salary – from £71,789 to £81,964 (pro rata as applicable)

NHS Forth Valley welcomes applications from doctors interested in working as a salaried GP with practice teams in rural North West Stirlingshire.  Applicants for this newly created salaried part-time GP post will be based within a friendly and supportive team environments in the Callander Health Centre where the team is focussed on provided high quality clinical care and continuity of care. The post which aims to support and sustain general practice in rural settings offers flexible working over two sessions per week and attractive salary and conditions. These sessions can be incorporated as part of a wider portfolio GP position.


The successful applicants would support additional surgery clinic sessions, home visits or other aspects of practice agreed in collaboration.

However, if circumstances dictate there may be a requirement to work across our board managed practices.   


A good knowledge of the National Health Service General Medical Services Contract requirements with a good understanding of Clinical Governance is essential.  Applicants are required to have evidence of recent continued academic and professional development. Applicants will hold a Certificate of Prescribed Experience from JCPTGP or equivalent and be registered with the General Medical Council and the General Practitioner Register by the time of appointment. A Royal College of General Practitioner qualification will be advantageous. Excellent, communication, listening and organisational skills are essential.
