Fixed Term (1 Year) Locum Specialty Dentist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS)
The OMFS Department based at University Hospital Monklands is seeking a Specialty Dentist to join its existing team. Although based at Monklands, the post-holder will contribute to the provision of a general OMFS/specialist interest service across the whole of NHS Lanarkshire.
The successful candidate will be expected to have undertaken a minimum of four years full-time postgraduate training (or the equivalent gained part time or on a flexible basis), including broad experience in the treatment of general OMFS conditions at ST/CT2 level in an OMFS Unit. The post-holder will also be expected to actively contribute to the training and supervision of junior medical/dental staff.
The post is advertised for 1 year fixed term, full-time on a 10- PA basis; however, applications are also invited from those wishing to work on a less than full-time basis or job share arrangement.
