Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Working in a dynamic team taking forward a public health agenda ensuring that the population across all age ranges have access to vaccinations and immunisations at home, at school, in care homes, in community settings and healthcare premises.

NHS Lothian are offering a variety of opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our vaccination teams in East and Midlothian. Candidates must be qualified to SCQF Level 6/7 (SVQ 3, Higher National Certificate level) although previous experience of working in a healthcare setting is not required. There is a comprehensive training programme and support for new recruits.

We have a number of posts available across East Lothian and Midlothian operating out of multiple bases. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering vaccines across the population of Lothian.

Posts are available with a range of working hours, from a minimum of 15 hours per week to full time, 37.5 hours per week. All posts will be rostered according to the needs of the service which will include evening and weekend working.


This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
