Clinical Support Team - Receptionist / Administrator, 37.5 Hours per Week

Riverview is an NHS Highland GP Practice based in Wick and we have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist/Administrator Modern Apprentice to join our team. 

As a Modern Apprentice you will earn as you learn.  You will have the opportunity to gain administrative experience whilst undertaking workplace training, achieving a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ).  The Modern Apprenticeship programme consists of work-based assessment and classroom based/remote learning. You will be assigned an Assessor who will provide you with support and guidance throughout the Apprenticeship.

The post is for 37.5 hours per week and we are open Monday to Friday from 0800 to 1800 hrs. You will need to work flexibly to ensure cover is provided across the full working week. To be successful in this role you will have good interpersonal and IT skills including knowledge of MS office.  You will be methodical and have a detailed approach to tasks and you will be a team player. You will provide a comprehensive reception service to our patients and have a wide range of administrative duties. This is a busy role, within a fast paced, but very friendly environment.

This post is fixed term for 20 months with the potential for extension following successful completion of the Modern Apprentice/SVQ.  In line with Skills Development Scotland 'Developing the Young Workforce: Scotland's Youth Employment Strategy' this opportunity is open to 16–19 year-olds only.
