NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), Procurement Commissioning and Facilities are looking for an experienced and qualified Programme Manager to meet current and emerging strategic goals of the Home Oxygen Service and to support patients and prescribers who use the service.
The Home Oxygen Service delivers a range of oxygen services and equipment to around 7000 patients in their homes and in homecare settings across Scotland. A Programme Manger is required to support the effective delivery of the service through the development and promotion of a number of key oxygen related projects and initiatives delivering strategic change, and promoting new ways of working.
You should be a suitably qualified applicant with proven experience of programme and project management in a technical discipline and have experience of working in a front facing healthcare or homecare environment with significant experience of oxygen delivery systems. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. Candidates should be confident, articulate and self motivated. This post can be based in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Canderside, with frequent requirement to work throughout Scotland.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who has worked overseas for more than 3 months will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
