An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered staff nurse to work within the Newport-on-Tay/Tayport Community Nursing Service.
You will be a registered nurse, preferably with Community Nursing experience. Excellent communication skills and clinical expertise and knowledge are essential.
The main focus of the team is preventing unnecessary admission, supporting earliest possible discharge from hospital and enabling patients to remain as independent as possible in their homes. You will be required to deliver excellent evidence- based treatment and care to the practice population of house bound patients
You will be required to work within a 24- hour, 7- day Community Nursing Service. The post will include working weekends and public holidays.
You will have the ability to travel across the Fife-wide division, if the service warrants, it and you must have an ability to provide evening cover as required.
Please note the salary scale for this post is pro rata for part time hours.
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
