We are a friendly, enthusiastic, large, truly multi-disciplinary team keen to welcome new GPs to our team of experienced GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners (from nursing and paramedic backgrounds, all Masters level and autonomous prescribers), Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, physios & CPN. We also have on-site DN team, treatment room nurse (dressings, Doppler etc.), midwives & health visitors making our clinic a very sociable place to be.
There's always an experienced colleague on-hand as well as daily meetings to discuss patients, tricky cases and share uncertainty! We have a new coffee machine and are well stocked with regular treats from our master bakers and chocolatiers!
We have an Advanced Practitioner who really knows our housebound patients and manages the majority of our home visits autonomously. GP visits are rarely required but usually done by on-call or you will be allocated time to visit. We also have wider clinical Whatsapp groups for quick problem solutions. You would be supported with on-call as you get to know our clinic, patients and area if you have never worked in the area before.
We have various resilience measures to stem workload from our experienced admin staff signposting, our savvy website and eReview system, filtering of results leading to low Docman numbers and remote clinicians available to dial in at a moment’s notice. We are open and quick to roll with any innovative ideas that may benefit our patients. Given our supportive environment, stress levels are significantly lower here than our GPs have experienced in other surgeries and we always leave on time!

Having the ability to remote in and cross-cover each other has really helped us gel as a team and offer a resilience few other practices can offer. Although we are looking for GPs to work at primarily one site, we would like salaried GPs to be open to cross-covering on the odd occasion - either electronically or in person - to allow for increased flexibility for staff annual leave and unexpected sickness. If this is something you would prefer this can also be arranged.
We would welcome applications from experienced GPs looking for a change or new challenge, GPs who have been out of work or overseas for a while looking for support in returning to primary care and also from newly qualified GPs or current ST3s who will thrive here. We support flexible working and can offer remote working from home options or guaranteed finish times for childcare etc.
We are supportive with CPD and have supported NB Hot Topics attendance and courses to help develop your skills and knowledge which ultimately help our patients. We are a friendly bunch keen to welcome new members to our team. We welcome new ideas and are open to change for the benefit of our patients and staff.

Salaried role:
Starting salary depending on experience £90-95k FTE
Associate partner role (for GPs wishing more responsibilities but not wishing full partnership) £105k FTE
Equity partnership (can be considered 6-12 months into the role)
NHS Pension and MDDUS Indemnity insurance included
Locum:
Feel free to come try us out and locum first! Rate £300/session presently.
