This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Applicants should have a high professional motivation with the ability to work within the multidisciplinary and multiagency culture with some experience in working either in community or Older people’s mental health. Previous experience including dementia is desirable.
The applicant will have an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team, working with adults over 65 years who have a wide range of mental health problems, based within East Lothian Community Hospital.
The applicant will work closely with multi agencies, inpatient services and carers to provide a holistic approach to care.
