An opportunity has arisen for 4 highly motivated band 5 RMNs to join the inpatient team within ward 3, Woodland View.
Ward 3 is a 15 bedded organic assessment ward caring for people with dementia.
The opportunity is available to individuals with a sound clinical knowledge, a genuine interest in working with people with dementia and an understanding of the strategies which underpin excellent dementia care.
You will be responsible for delivering person centred care, evidenced based, recovery focused interventions and will also promote collaborative working within a multi- disciplinary team and across multi agency services.
Applications are welcomed from individuals who will work as a key component of a multidisciplinary team and, as such, should have excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills along with a positive attitude and a proven ability to work as part of a team. Successful individuals will be aware of what is required to improve the care of people living with dementia and their carers / families and how to ensure that this is provided.
Applicants should be willing to undertake training to develop skills and competencies as required.
4 posts are fulltime - 75 hours over 2 weeks.
A flexible approach to shift patterns will be essential.
