An opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Mental Health Inpatient Team in NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

As a Nursing Assistant working at the Woodland View facility within Ayrshire Central Hospital site you will assist in the provision of high quality nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Woodland View opened in May 2016 after an extensive planning and construction period to provide a purpose built, gold standard inpatient facility; successful applicant would therefore be joining mental health services at a very exciting time.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an interest of working within an acute mental health unit.

You will display a positive attitude towards enhancing the care experience of service users.  You will have a willingness to engage in training opportunities to enhance your knowledge base and be able to provide evidence of professional development.

Hours: 64.34 hours per fortnight. 

A flexible approach to shift patterns will be essential across the 24/7 period.
