An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, highly motivated nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in Ward B, Lorn & Islands Hospital, Oban, Argyll.
Candidates for this post should preferably have proven post registration experience at Band 5 in acute general medical field, HDU and CCU experience an advantage. programme.
The applicant should be enthusiastic with regards to enhancing their skills and sharing their knowledge.
Applicants must show evidence of continued professional development. Newly qualified staff will be offered a comprehensive development pack.
Ward B is a 20 bedded ward comprising of 14 acute general medical beds with a 6 bedded High Dependency Unit, which deals with a variety of surgical & predominately medical patients.
Lorn & Islands Hospital is a well equipped hospital situated in Oban on the stunning west coast of Scotland. Ferry links can transport you easily to Mull or the more distant islands of Iona, Barra & Tiree. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with countless leisure activities, good schools with small class sizes, excellent housing and a strong sense of community. The main centres of Glasgow, Stirling and Inverness are all within easy reach for a greater variety of shopping & cultural experiences.
