Healthcare Improvement Scotland – Community Engagement supports the engagement of people and communities in shaping health and social care services in Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to promote the activities of the Community Engagement Directorate within the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area. This will also include an opportunity to work across the Community Engagement Directorate’s designated West region (Ayrshire and Arran, Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and Lanarkshire).
Working with relevant stakeholders, you will develop productive working relationships with local public and patient representative bodies to support NHS boards and health and social care partnerships to carry out effective engagement with local communities.
Ideally, you will have an understanding and previous experience of working in public involvement, have training experience as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. Based in Glasgow, you should be prepared to travel to other locations across Scotland to support work activity as and when required.
