Fixed Term: 36 months * Service Level Agreement
Location: Flexible Base (any NHS Education for Scotland Office Location)
The Scotland Deanery is responsible for postgraduate medical education. The East of Scotland region seeks a new Associate Postgraduate Dean to join a dynamic senior team. The Associate Postgraduate Dean post is required to cover a portfolio of work that will include leadership for postgraduate training for a Career development and less than full time working, as well as support for other regional activity as part of the senior medical team. The role will involve interaction with trainees and trainers in providing support and improving postgraduate education both within the East Region and nationally within the Scotland Deanery.
This will be across 1 PAs of time (1 PA = 4 hours).
Applications are invited from trained doctors in the East of Scotland who are in a substantive NHS or University post. All applicants must confirm prior to interview that their employer would support a Service Level Agreement for this role within their job plan.
Some travel throughout Scotland will be required.
