Part Time; 1 PA (4 hours per week)
Fixed Term for 3 years in the first instance
Flexible Base: Any NES office location
The Foundation Programme Director (FPD) supports the delivery of Foundation training programmes. The FPD is responsible for ensuring that foundation doctors are able to access a comprehensive range of experiences which will enable them to gain the competencies necessary for full registration and completion of foundation training. The FPD is responsible for the overall management and quality management of a foundation programme which consists of approximately 30 trainees (both F1 and F2).
The FPD should be a Consultant ,General Practitioner or a Career Grade Doctor and will be responsible to the Associate Postgraduate Dean (APGD). He or she may also combine the role with that of an educational and/or clinical supervisor.
